In The City: Andrew Loog Oldham keynote

Former Rolling Stones manager Andrew Loog Oldham will give the opening address at this year’s In The City event.

His appearance will be followed by that of Andy Burnham MP, the Culture Secretary. The organisers said: “We are delighted to announce that government minister Andy Burnham MP, the Culture Secretary, will outline his position on some of the key challenges currently facing the UK music industry and will be offering In The City delegates the chance to question him on those major issues that directly affect their businesses. As the key person in the current Government as far as the music industry is concerned, we are delighted that Andy Burnham will be coming to In The City 2008 to outline his vision for the music business.”
