In a special gesture to reflect ten years of Big Brother Records, Oasis are offering all their albums for sale in digital format for just £3 via their own digital store front – but only for today . The same albums currently cost £4.49 via iTunes.
‘Go Let It Out’, the first ever release on the label, was marked on the 7th February – ten years to the day that it was released – with a special bundle at the Oasisinet store which sold out in less than 24 hours!
The band explains: “This Sunday 28th February is 10 years to the day since the release of ‘Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants’, the first album to be released on the label.
“To celebrate this day in the band’s history and to thank you the fans, every one of Oasis’ albums will be available to purchase digitally at a celebratory £3 each for ONE DAY ONLY. This includes the 14 million selling album ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?’ which last week took the award for “Best Album Of The Last 30 Years” at the UK’s Brit Awards.”
