Free music: Led Zeppelin stream now live

Rhino Records is releasing a huge compilation boxed set of Led Zeppelin tracks – and is making a series of tracks from the act available to hear online.

The label’s website is offering fans the chance to play ten tracks, including ‘Kashmir’, ‘Heartbreaker’, ‘When the Levee Breaks’ and, of course, ‘Whole Lotta Love’. You can hear them in one long rock ‘n’ roll session right here.

Available in the US, the $200 collection includes ten albums on CD packaged in replica mini-LP covers.  The sleeves included in the boxed set feature the original LP album artwork released in the U.K., including the original printing of the group’s debut, which used turquoise ink on the cover for the band’s name and the Atlantic Records logo. Later printings used orange ink, making the first a rare collector’s item. The orange sleeve is included with the boxed set as a bonus.

Signing off, here’s the band performing ‘Black Dog’ in 1973.
