Here’s a patent that seems particularly interesting, particularly if you spend any time thinking about 3D future-focused user interfaces and the notion of video eyeglasses for media players – eye control. Specifically, eye-controlled earphones.

This clever technology means the earphones are capable of pausing, playing and changing tracks, as well as adjusting the volume on your player. And we can imagine that, having come this far, there’s an even bigger future for such things. Coming one day to an iPhone near you? Who knows…
