Apple is opening yet another store in the UK – this time in a £100 million shopping centre development situated in Newcastle’s Eldon Square.
Apple has signed-up to set up shop in the St Andrew’s Way development, where the store will sit beside those including Hollister, Topshop, Debenhams and more.
Work started on the St Andrew’s Way development in 2007 just as the credit crunch began to bite and when it opens next week it will comprise 23 new retail outlets employing around 800 people.
Apple has a number of stores in the UK but the Newcastle one will be its only presence between Sheffield and Glasgow.
Wonderful post – I was heading for a similar article which I will probably still take a shot at, but from a slightly different angle. Thanks for sharing this with your readers…I’m sure I’m not the only one who appreciates it.
