The traditon has begun once again, with Apple’s US online store going offline as iPad-mania prepares to hit the States with all the force of the Beatles invasion, maybe.

The store went offline at c.6am Eastern time. We have no idea when it will return, but we’d anticipate approximately 8.30am Eastern.
