So Apple continues to invest in gaming, with news now through claiming the company’s only gone and hired one of the world’s top 100 games developers – who is right now coding furiously as part of Apple’s iPhone group.
Kotaku claims Ensemble Studios’ lead designer Graeme Devine is the man in this plan, former lead designer and lead writer on Halo Wars before Microsoft decided to shut Ensemble Studios down.
“He mentions coding and preparing for Monday’s World Wide Developers Conference on his Twitter page,” the report explains.
He joins at least one other recent games industry recruit, Microsoft’s senior director of business, insights and strategy for Xbox, Richard Teversham. This exec has been “an integral part of the success of Xbox in Europe and in the UK,” Microsoft said.
