Something Unusual: Check Out The Dracula Mac

So Apple shifted 300,000 iPads on Saturday alone and will announce/preview/tease with iPhone OS 4 this Thursday, so what? You’re reading the same goddam stuff everywhere, right? This homogenous news agenda gets so tired sometimes I just don’t wanna bother – this excites me, however, the Victorian Organ Command Desk – a Mac like no other, and equipped with an iPhone dock.

I’ll make no secret of being rather inspired by these sorts of things right now. And I think this is one of the best I’ve seen, the result of six months of effort.

The real live working computer offers 3 monitors, a printer, scanner, webcam, horn speakers, iPhone dock, card readers and a built-in clock. And looks amazing.

Everything decked in for the Command Desk compilation is authentic Victorian antique, including those inverted Chapel organ pipes mounted on the wall behind the thing. We can imagine if Dracula went online he’d use something like this.

Love the webcam below, BTW.
