All new digital music startup remix site, tracksandfields.com this week launched the public beta of its new remixing and online collaboration music platform.
Led by a team of music pros, Tracksandfields.com has been in development since 2006. The development was funded by the German minister of economy and technology and the European Social Fund.
The site lets musicians collaborate on new songs together, get feedback on your work-in-progress, share some samples with your friends and allow the site community to create remixes of their tracks.
The site has begun hosting weekly remix contests featuring some interesting artists and labels, including Kid 606, Egotronic, Khan, Super700, Mr. Wobble Clickclickdecker and more.
This week the site is teaming up with Super 700 and their label Motor Music, offering the winning remixer the chance of a release on Motor Music.
Explaining the service, company founder Christian Mix-Linzer explains: “Musicians know one problem very well: they are full of ideas and just want to make music with the right people. Usually, the problem is that the people who share the same vision don’t share the same schedules or the same location. Or they know how to write a great song, but need someone who knows how to make it sound right. Tracksandfields.com is the solution.”
Tracksandfields.com lets artists collaborate online with each other from wherever they are in the world. They can find people to write, produce or remix music and share their ideas through our simple online sequencer.
“Tracksandfields.com is the new platform for the creative future of the music industry,” Christian declared.
