Motorola Atila shakes iPhone throne

Motorola has announced its Atila mobile, named after the famed Atila the Hun.

The device is best described as being like a Motorola Alexander without a QWERTY keypad – it has a 2.8 inch QVGA touchscreen at 240 x 320 resolution instead.

Noth tri and quad-band models of the handset are available. The product ships with Windows Mobile 6.1 and offers support for WiFi.

The device is set to launch in the coming weeks, and forms part of Motorola’s attempt to rebuild marketshare for its mobile devices.
