In further extension of the music and iPhone paradigm, Tapulous today announced its Tap Tap Dance game is now available on the Apple App Store.
Tap Tap Dance goes beyond Tap Tap Revenge – the most downloaded free game through the App Store – delivering richer graphics, new lighting effects, more sophisticated game play features, and dance tracks from artists including The Chemical Brothers, Daft Punk, Digitalism, Moby and more.
“We are delighted that so many amazing artists see Tap Tap Dance, Tap Tap Revenge and the iPhone – the most popular phone in the world as a powerful new way to connect with fans, “ said Bart Decrem, CEO, Tapulous. “We know gamers of all kinds will really enjoy grooving to the dance tunes and tapping away on the game in their spare moments.”
“We love giving fans new ways to collaborate and interact with our music. It’s exciting to see how Tapulous have added a new dimension to ‘Midnight Madness,'” said Grammy® Award-winning music duo the Chemical Brothers.
“The team at Tapulous is super creative and has done a great job developing iPhone Apps that are engaging, fun and addictive,” said Cynthia Sexton, EVP of brand partnerships, licensing and synchronization at EMI Music worldwide.
“They’ve really become leaders in developing iPhone Apps, so we were thrilled to incorporate many of our artists into this first volume of Tap Tap Dance and look forward to building on the Tap Tap phenomenon.”
“Working with the Tapulous team on the concept and the stellar artist selection for this game was a real delight,” said Bruno Guez, producer of Tap Tap Dance. “The outcome of this great collaboration pushes the boundaries and raises the bar of the mobile gaming experience.”
