Online video company, Dailymotion and EMI are partnering to deliver EMI’s library of music videos to Dailymotion’s popular Web video site, mobile site and iPhone app and the Dailymotion channel on Internet connected TVs. The deal brings EMI’s vast collection of premium music videos close to the hands of over 65 million Dailymotion users.
Beginning April 2010, Dailymotion users will be able to enjoy music videos from EMI artists including Coldplay, Katy Perry, Robbie Williams, David Guetta, among others, from all of EMI’s labels including Astralwerks, Blue Note, Capitol and Virgin, as well as the labels represented by EMI Label Services and EMI’s Caroline Distribution unit. The agreement makes use of Dailymotion’s robust ad platform, which will deliver ads with EMI videos to all three screens.
