Anime video reaches Hulu, Joost, Blinkx and more

Fans of Japanese Anime flicks have a new treat – the addition of a dedicated channel of such content to NBC Universal/News Corp’s Hulu video service.

Animation channel GONG launched on Hulu today. It’s the first online TV channel for Anime in Europe and North America and is now available any time for nothing on Hulu.

The channel offers some of the best Anime of the genre, aimed at Manga and Japanese culture fans. Available in three languages and with already 20 services running some of GONG’s key titles include; Ikki Tousen, Karas, The Slayers, Saiyuki, Cosmo Warrior Zero, Karekano, Utena, Ergo Proxy..

GONG is so far also available in France on Neuf-SFR, WAT, Free and TF1 Vision as a Broadband VOD service. In the UK, GONG channel is accessible 24/7 on Orange TV, and on all mobile operators as a VOD and SVOD service.

The channel is also broadcast in Poland and Romania on the Orange Services. In Europe and North America, GONG is also available on platforms including Joost, Babelgum, Youtube, MSN, and Blinkx.
