Underworld ship iPhone app, plan iPhone gig

Underworld are working with iDrum to release their very own remixable iPhone app.

The application lets fans remix and manipulate 13 tracks, including all the band’s hits and also an all-new track called ‘VoxJam’. The release is timed to celebrate the addition of the band’s back catalogue to the iTunes store.

Underworld also plan to be the first act to stream a live gig to the iPhone, which they’ll do on August 7 when they perform at the Fox Theatre in Oakland, California. Test your connection here.

Finally, the band have released a live recording of their performance of ‘Born Slippy’ at the Brixton Academy. This track is available for free download in the MP3 audio format.
