@blak7 Well, we don’t really mind our external hard drives disappearing every few days, do we? It’s not like we’d be thinking Time Machine had backed everything up when actually it was sitting there doing naff all. So not really a priority.

My concern with any upgrade Apple developes is what applications does it break? Many times in the pass iterations some of my most valuable utilities are broken. Funny how the press seldom mentions this. I think Apple has become predatory in that they will break certain applications purposely.

Anyway, like the Roman Empire, Apple’s slogan is “No one moves against me with impunity.”

Example: They break Songbird at every opportunity. This is an unfair use of the OS in my opinion.

I reported to Apple a problem, shortly after release of Snow Leopard, with the address list IN the Mail program (not the Adress Book, but the address list in Mail). Each time an e-mail is sent, addresses are shuffled for individuals with multiple address listed: they do NOT stay in order. This never happened with 10.4 and 10.5.

I was informed by Apple, following their research, that this was a problem experienced by EVERYONE in 10.6. Apparently, Apple is not fixing this problem in 10.6.3.

So, when WILL they fix it?
