An interesting experiment in making Google Earth come alive. The Georgia Institute of Technology present a recent project – “Augmenting Aerial Earth Maps with Dynamic Information”.
Using crowd-sourced video footage, the team has managed to create a “dynamic alive city” in augmented virtual earth type maps.
