Placebo are doing it again, announcing a worldwide exclusive playback session of the band’s new album, ‘Battle for the Sun’.

The album – described as “Placebo at their breathtaking, irresistible best.” by Mojo in a recent review – will be available for online playback to fans registered with the band’s own website from 9am GMT tomorrow, Friday May 29.

Apple’s plans for the Apple TV continue to sneak into the present, with Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot confirming Apple’s growing stance in the games market.

“There’s a new entrant in the business – Apple, with the iPhone,” he said, speaking during his company’s financial results call. “And we don’t think they will stop there.”
