Great write up. The iPhone is truly amazing and I don’t like being without it. This time last year I had jumped in a pool with my iPhone and it was dead. I had to wait 10 days before I was able to get a new one. The phone I had was a cheap go phone. I really love all the games that can be downloaded to the iPhone. The best part about the iPhone to me is the ability to check emails on the go. Thanks for the information.

Thanks for the info on cell phone unlocking. I love cell phones and work at a little cell phone shop where we unlock phones and mod them for people. Add http://free-cell-phone-unlock.com to your list of free cell phone unlock sites, I use the downloads there a lot to help me unlock phones for customers, don’t be mad but hey I have to make a living some kinda way!! lol.

Anyways, I figured you could use that in your bag of tricks too

well in dubai uae legal version are sold for 800

2.2 can be unlocking using various sim.

the problem is reception.

i accidently updated my 3g i-phone from 2.1 to 2.2 now i want to downgrade to 2.1 how can i ?

I am in the same boat, so is everyone else here in europe…The worse is we were sold these phone as legal unlocked versions from apple at over 1200 us each. Now they are useless toys…

I have a 3G iPhone and accidently updated to 2.2, I am using a turbo-sim chip with T-mobile. I understand about the unlock feature not being able to be accessed in the 3G, but is there any why I can repair it, once I have updated the software. This is my main phone can you please advise.
