Virgin Media has confirmed it plans to launch its own online music portal, expanding content it makes available through its TV on-demand music service to be available online.

NMW spoke with Virgin Media TV CEO of content, Malcolm Wall, who talked about creating a portal for music which he says would be “enriched” with the “power brands around entertainment”. (A way of discussing human creativity that frankly really turns me off, sorry).

Anyway, Virgin continues to expand the content it makes available, with Wall adding, “increasingly when we talk to a content provider we talk to them about cooperation in the broadband space as well as in mobile.”
