Kenbushi opens Apple’s digital media world

Lava Software has introduced Kenbushi 7.4, free digital media software which integrates Macs with media from outside of the Apple-approved ecosystem.

Available for Mac OS X and Windows (with a Linux version imminent), Kenbushi 7.4 can be used to manage and play media on a Mac or PC, sync media to all non-Apple portable media players, and convert any computer into a media centre with InternetTV which connects directly to an existing TV or home theatre system.

The solution also includes a secure data back-up system and easy file-sharing over a local area network or via the internet.

Users can load media onto non-Apple digital media players, mobile phones, USB sticks, SD cards or portable hard drives. ‘Media Space Limits’ can be set for each playlist to ensure only a portion of the available storage space is used for media files.
